Progress

I feel like a sock knitter again! Over the past couple of nights of television, I finished the heels on my denim socks. I used the riverbed pattern, but didn't move the wing stitches like the directions say. I used markers and worked them back and forth. It was less confusing to me to keep the instep stitches on their own needle.

I've been reading my new "Custom Knits" book. The patterns are more modern than I would wear, but it's easy to see how to make them more flattering for my figure. I may even try a short sleeve sweater in a cotton blend. Whoo hoo.
