New Tricks

I learned something new. I learned how to purl the Norwegian way. Someone on the Knitlist posted a pdf link and it's so easy. The yarn starts out in back of the work link knitting, but then it takes an extra little flip to become a purl stitch. Some people say it makes their tension more even. For me, it eliminated the need to tug on the yarn to tighten the stitch when I finished it. There was also a page that showed how to do color work holding two strands of yarn in the left hand. I think that would make fair isle a lot easier.

I'm working on sleeve number one and am at the third pattern. This one is the checkerboard and I'll get to practice that norwegian purl.
