I'm enjoying this process after all. I made it harder on myself because I didn't wind two separate balls of yarn from the large ball of Opal sock yarn. Instead, I'm using two ends from the same ball and trying to keep the strands separate. I've turned the heel and am working on the gussets. I'll have to try a more intricate pattern next. I like the stretchiness of the 2x2 ribbing and the colors are very nice.
We're having a nice soaking rain today. It's been great to catch up on inside chores. I haven't ripped back my red sweater yet.
